We are looking for a lawyer for my mother-in-law. She is trying to collect her deceased husband's pension. What area of law does that fall under?

I suggest that you contact a lawyer who practices in the area of elder law or if you can't find that, a lawyer who handles wills, trusts and estates. Anyone who administers estates should be able to help. The directory found here at lawyers.com is a good place to start researching. Then, ask your friends and family for referrals to ensure you find someone reputable and responsive. You could also try calling your local probate court.
